Pete has been playing the trumpet for 40 years and has taught students of all ages and levels. He earned a Degree in Professional Music from Boston’s Berklee College of Music, a Masters of Fine Arts in Jazz Studies from California Institute for the Arts, and a teaching certificate in the Alexander Technique. He has been an Adjunct Jazz and Trumpet Instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College, Sonoma State University, Pacific Union College, Solano College, and Napa Valley College. In addition to working for Carnival, Holland America and Princess Cruise Lines as a soloist and lead player, Pete has appeared as a guest on five album releases, including Mel Grave’s “Ear Shot”, Steve Wolf’s “Joy Button”, and Bonnie Brook’s “You are the Song in Me.” Pete has also played with the Ukiah, Ft.
