Night of Blues!

Night of Blues 2020

On March 9, 2020, the Marin County Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recommended the cancellation or postponement of nonessential indoor gatherings of more than 100 people to prevent the spread of COVID-19 commonly called the novel coronavirus. As a result, the Redwood Music Boosters has canceled the Night of Blues event scheduled for Friday, March 27th. We did not make this decision lightly and we know how hard the students have been working on this event not to mention that the Night of Blues is the single biggest source of funding for the Music Boosters. We are working on possible alternate ways to celebrate our music students in a safe manner and will share those plans as they develop.  Thank you for your patience and understanding!

THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers, sponsors as well as the parents, family members, and friends of RHS musicians who attended and made the event so memorable for the performers!

What is Night of Blues?
The Night of Blues is a much-loved Redwood tradition for both parents and students, featuring our talented student musicians and vocalists. You’ll be amazed at the talent! It’s a great opportunity to kick back and soak up good music, enjoy some tasty hors d’oeuvres, or kick up your heels with a little dancing. It’s the Music Department’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and a fun way to support our students, keep the department running smoothly, and maintain the same rich musical environment and opportunities for future students.

How can I attend?
Tickets are sold online and at the door. This event is often sold out so it’s best to purchase tickets in advance.

Can I help?
We need many volunteers and sponsors to pull off this event, so if you are interested in participating, contact Co-Chairs Ronnie or Cheryl.
